"22-26 NOVEMBER 2021"


For the student mobility of the Erasmus+ School partnership project 'Climate Justice', numbered 2020-1-TR01-KA229-092927, of which Eskişehir Fatih Science High School is the coordinator, 19 students from project partner schools, 9 teachers, 19 students from Eskişehir Fatih Science High School and 4 teachers made a wide range of activities from interactive presentations to academic debates on Water and Climate Change on 22-26 November. Before the activity, they collected 25 animations they made using Web tools to raise awareness about the theme, in digital books, and made the cover designs with mixed country teamwork. .

After the project teams introduced their countries, cities and schools, they talked about the water resources and water consumption cultures in their own countries. In the determined titles on water and climate change prepared by using web tools in national teams; After the interactive presentations on the consumption of water in energy production, water footprint, effective use of water in agriculture, climate change, and the importance of water in our lives, the evaluations drew attention to the issues and motivated the students for the next activities.

Before the mobility, 3 discussion topics were determined,

1. Water should not be used in energy production.

2. Sustainable agriculture reduces water consumption.

3. Air pollution had a huge impact on water.

Debating training was given to the national teams and they were prepared.

With the animation web tools tutorials uploaded on the eTwinning project pages of the same name, the students wrote their scripts, created their animations with the web tool they wanted (Powtoon, Animaker, Genially) and uploaded them to the page. After choosing the best animation and the best scenario using voting tools, they uploaded the book cover designs they made in international teams. The best design was used as a digital book cover. Participants increased their interaction with Eskişehir Fatih Science High School students with workshops such as Water purification experiments, ice breaking activities, Ebru works, and Ardunio, conducted by Foreign Language, Visual Arts, Computer and Chemistry teachers at Eskişehir Fatih Science High School. Within the scope of the project, cultural, artistic and excursion activities were also held. Eskişehir's historical and cultural beauties, Odunpazarı houses, Kurşunlu Complex, and Wooden Works Museum, Glass Arts Center, Wax Museum, Sazova Science, Culture and Art Park were visited. Mobility has contributed to the targeted communication, cooperation, informatics, artistic, scientific and social gains in students, and their awareness of their daily water consumption habits has increased. As the project students are goodwill ambassadors of their countries, they have ensured that they display positive and constructive attitudes in international cooperation studies.
